I've been in Dina's world for almost 2 months now! Here are my major wins as I'm just getting started with Transformational Spark Program!

A little win of self confidence today (which I have a lack of)... I was leaving work to my taekwondo training so I have all my uniform on. I found an ambulance lost in our retirement village. I actually got out of the car and spoke to them despite my self conscious of being in my taekwondo uniform instead of work uniform. I always find it embarrassing to walk around in my uniform and would hide it. But today I am proud to be in my black belt and walk around with the officers to take them inside. Although I didn't get into the facility as a staff has came to assist. But normally, I would just call for staff and wouldn't attempt to get out. Hence, waiting for majority of office staff has gone home before I leave.

Another win is that all my talk of self confidence and self worth with my 11 yo daughter. She stepped out of her comfort zone and decided she would audition (for all roles including main roles) in the upcoming large school musical production without any prompting. She has social anxiety and stage frights despite her many performances for her music. She has trouble speaking out in front of people. This is a major win for me that she is willing to take that step out despite her fears.
